PRAWN PULAO
Ingredients:
- Basmati Rice- 300gm (Washed)
- Prawns - 200gm (Cleaned, Shelled & deveined)
- Peas -150gms
- Curds- 150 ml
- Onions -3 (chopped)
- Ginger Garlic Paste -2and1/2 tbsp
- Chilli powder- 2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder -1tsp
- Fresh Coriander leaves - 2tbsp (chopped)
- Cardamons -2nos.
- Cloves - 3nos.
- Bay leaves -2
- Cinnamon - 1 (small stick)
- Oil or Ghee -2tbsp
- Cashew nuts for garnishing
- Salt, Pepper to taste
Recipe Direction:
- Apply chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, curds and sa;t and pepper to prawns and keep aside for 1 hour to marinate.
- In a microwave safe bowl, add oil, whole garam masala and onions. Microwave covered for 4 to 5 minutes at 100% power.
- Add rice, prawns and water to it mix well. Microwave covered for 10 minutes at 100% power and then for 8 minutes at 70% power. Stir between.
- Standing time for 5 minutes to be given, Garnish with fried Cashew nuts ,Serve hot with raita.
