 PRAWN PULAO


Ingredients:

  • Basmati Rice- 300gm (Washed)
  • Prawns - 200gm (Cleaned, Shelled & deveined)
  • Peas -150gms 
  • Curds- 150 ml
  • Onions -3 (chopped)
  • Ginger Garlic Paste -2and1/2 tbsp
  • Chilli powder- 2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder -1tsp
  • Fresh Coriander leaves - 2tbsp (chopped)
  • Cardamons -2nos.
  • Cloves - 3nos.
  • Bay leaves -2
  • Cinnamon - 1 (small stick)
  • Oil  or Ghee -2tbsp
  • Cashew nuts for garnishing
  • Salt, Pepper to taste

 Recipe Direction:

  • Apply chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, curds and sa;t and pepper to prawns and keep aside for 1 hour  to marinate.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, add oil, whole garam masala and onions. Microwave covered for 4 to 5 minutes at 100% power.
  • Add rice, prawns and water to it mix well. Microwave covered for 10 minutes at 100% power and then for 8 minutes at 70% power. Stir between.
  • Standing time for 5 minutes to be given, Garnish with fried Cashew nuts ,Serve hot with raita.
