POMFRET FISH FRY
Ingredients:
- Whole Pomfret fish - 3
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder
- Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Lemon juice - 1/2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
For Garnish:
- Curry leaves
Method:
Clean and apply salt and 2 tsp lemon juice to the fish. Keep for 20 minutes. Wash thoroughly.
Marinate the fish by adding turmeric powder, chilli powder, pepper powder, coriander powder, few drops of lemon juice and salt for half an hour before frying.
Heat a frying pan with little oil and keep the marinated fish on the pan gently for shallow fry in a low flame add little oil and fry it nicely in both sides.
Garnish with curry leaves. Serve hot.
