CREOLE FISH
Ingredients:
- Pomfret fish - 10 fillets
- Tomato gravy - 1/2 cup
- Capsicum - 1 (sliced)
- Onion - 1 (sliced)
- Spring onion - 3 tbsp (sliced)
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- Salt and Pepper to taste
For Garnish :
- Grated cheese - 3 to 4 tbsp
Method:
Apply salt and fresh lemon juice to the fish fillets and keep for 30 minutes. Wash thoroughly.
In a shallow serving microwave safe dish spread 1/4 cup of the tomato gravy, worcestershire sauce and lay in capsicum, onion, pepper powder, salt and spring onion.
Place the fish fillets on top of the gravy and spread the remaining portion of the tomato gravy over the fish.
Microwave covered for 15 to 20 minutes, turning the dish around after 5 minutes.
Sprinkle cheese over it and serve hot.
SHRIMP CREOLE
Ingredients:
- Prawns (shrimp) - 500 gm (shelled, deveined and washed)
- Fresh lemon juice - 1 tbsp
- Tomato gravy - 1/2 cup
- Capsicum - 1 (sliced)
- Onion - 1 (sliced)
- Garlic - 5 to 7 flakes (crushed)
- Spring onion - 3 tbsp (sliced)
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- Grated cheese - 3 to 4 tbsp
- Salt and Pepper to taste
For Garnish :
- Tomato slices
Method:
Apply salt and fresh lemon juice to the prawns and keep for 15 minutes. Wash thoroughly.

Place the prawns on top of the gravy and spread the remaining portion of the tomato gravy over the prawns.
